Mohammad, it's true--we won't agree on every jot and tittle--or every letter in BOLD CAPS? Why on earth would we? (How boring!)

But I agree that it's a shame when seemingly every public (and not so public) space is enslaved to an ideology--in this case the reduction of each other to discrete identities.

Having said that, to mention one example which just popped into my head, the TV show "The Honeymooners" made light of domestic abuse. I hope that would not fly today!

Still, as you say, why can't we simply "Enjoy watching the games"?
