Nice list. I like Return of the Living Dead (1985) as a goofy one. ("Do ya wanna party?")

I really appreciate ones that overlap genres, like Train to Busan (including Ma Dong-seok /yes, I looked it up/ as the no-nonsense, kickass guy). The Girl with All the Gifts (Gemma Arterton shines in this). Warm Bodies (with its nod to a certain poet).

I haven't seen this one for ages, but The Serpent and the Rainbow (with Bill Pullman) is a tasty little scare-fest.

I could go on--World War Z. I like how Brad Pitt and Daniella Kertesz work together.
